Little Boy Pop: A Halloween Playlist

We're coming up on All Hallows Eve, a holiday I celebrated as a child until an overzealous church member convinced my mom and a bunch of other adolescent parentals that Halloween was satanic and not to be celebrated by God fearing Christians. Luckily, by then I had been put in work, having treated hard through my neighboorhood with my older sister. We even coaxed our dad to chauffer us to outlying areas for additional booty.
Those were the days and quite worth a little reminiscence as I prepare to take in New York City's Halloween parade Wednesday, in stubborn affront to the hometown holy rollers. I mean come on, whatever its origins, Halloween is for the kids and henceforth pretty damn wholesome. To a tradition lost and found.
I've made a playlist of frothy pop and R&B and limited it to boy bands and sepia tween idols that peaked in popularity before I flew the coop. The playlist appropriately runs the gamut from estrangement to reconciliation. Happy listening.
