Dwele's Return
I guess I can safely assume Dwele lost his major label deal as his third album, Sketches of a Man, will be coming out on Koch on June 24th. I honestly was pretty damn surprised Virgin sprung for Some Kinda...
as his debut, Subject, thwarted contemporary R&B convention and didn't move major units. That said Dwele's anti-vocal acrobat approach is refreshing and his live show something serious as I blogged last summer. Some Kinda... was criminally overlooked and worth picking up especially by those with a soft spot for witty R&B and I have always been extra partial to warmth and levity of Subject's, "Find a Way." Man, I loved this song. I can't believed he was dropped. Hopefully, he will make it back. His talent does not deserve to go unnoticed.
