Where's My Ball
Sports and life - in that order.
Krypto-NATE!
Facebook. Twitter. My living room. I seemed to hear and read and see a lot of people hating on this year's NBA Slam Dunk contest. I'm not really sure why. Folks were upset that Nate did a dunk he's used before in the contest (um, did he do it over a 7 footer? Or, better yet, did he do it against a 7 footer who basically handed him the contest by letting him do it?). They complained that Howard did the whole Superman thing last year and talked about how he shouldn't be allowed to win anyway because he's so tall (the guy dunked with EASE on a 12 foot basket!).
Oh well. I was into it. And to commemorate Robinson's victory at the 2009 Sprite Slam Dunk Contest, adidas and the NBA released this shirt to the masses today. It goes for $22 and is available at the NBA Store on 5th Avenue in New York City and will drop online at NBA.com tomorrow. Knicks fans...rejoice.
