Unrest in Floyd's Camp Before The Big Fight

Floyd Mayweather seeks to solidify his boxing legacy when he goes toe to toe with Oscar De La Hoya for the junior middleweight title tomorrow in Las Vegas. But it's not a beautiful day in Mr. Mayweather's neighborhood - or should I say his camp. Sources close to Mayweather's camp say one of his artists, a hungry young rapper named H-Flo, is making noise - and it's not in the studio.

Among Mayweather's business holdings is Philthy Rich Records. H-Flo is one of the rappers in Mayweather's stable. For the past 3½ years, H-Flo has patiently awaited his turn to prove he can run with the biggest and best in the rap world.

"It's going to happen," Mayweather assured him, "your time is coming." H-Flo believed him. So much so that he turned down other offers to leave Mayweather's label out of loyalty. So imagine his chagrin when he learned that 50 Cent would lead Mayweather into the ring tomorrow night on possibly, the biggest night of Mayweather's boxing career. And to add insult to injury, 50 Cent would perform his new song entitled "Straight to the Bank" for the first time.

Sources say H-Flo is "very upset" about that fact. "50 Cent is not even on Mayweather's label," said the source. "His artists, including Posta Boy, are very salty about that. I mean, who's really frontin'? Mayweather is a multimillionaire living in a 12,000-square-foot mansion while his artists are living in a small apartment," said the source.

"All he does is give his artists jewelry, but then he's not giving them money. All that flashy jewelry they wear don't even belong to them," said the source. "His artists are living very foul out here! Don't give them a chain, give them a major record deal," said the source.

The sources said H-Flo visits Atlanta to work with Jazze Phae and they recently completed a song and music video together. "The best way to break his artist all over the world is [the fight]," the source said. "Why is he coming out with 50 Cent? 50 Cent has nothing to do with his label. He's just a friend."

The source also said Mayweather's artists are not happy that 50 Cent promised Mayweather a million dollars if he wins the fight. "Mayweather is already rich," said the source. "Don't give him a million dollars, give his artists a major record deal! That's what they need."
