The WTF? moment for today. (Worth watching. Seriously.)
The Crying Games
Despite the fact that the Summer Olympics only happen once every four years, don't they always manage to sneak up on you? Like, it seems that just yesterday the U.S. men's basketball team suffered that crushing loss against Puerto Rico in the '04 Olympics. Kleenex (yes, Kleenex) is dropping this 40-minute documentary called "let it out: the movie" (trailer above) featuring a bunch of folks ranging from track & field Olympian Michael Johnson to Muhammad Ali's wife talking about what the Olympics mean to them. Now, I'm certainly not getting all teary-eyed about the Games or anything, but apparently there are plenty of people out there who are.
The flick debuts during the Olympic Games on August 11 and also in 25 U.S. cities on August 13. Or, you can check it out on August 14 at letitout.com. And the Olympics start this Friday, people. Support and be sure to stay tuned to VIBE.com later this week for a bunch of exclusive interviews with members of this year's U.S. men's basketball team.
