Why do Beyonce fans take comments so personally? I mean every other entertiner gets criticized and people do not get into online knife fights over it. The moment Beyonce is mentioned her defenders act like someone has attacked a close family member. Look, here it is. Beyonce's career does not deserve respect. From her shady beginnings with Destiny's Child up till now, she has been a jack of all trades and mastered nothing. Now, if she's #1 on these Billboards, GREAT. I also have an understanding that hits are no longer determined by talent, but by what's hot. As far as being a lady, I don't think Beyonce is the one to give that lesson. She does not speak intelligently nor does she present herself as a young woman who has the resources to improve herself (which she does). I don't support people because they're black either...That's a little on the tired side.

Man people on this website is so damn uneducated aboutt he music business its pure humor. First of all, when anything happen's to an artist and it needs a response there PR Publicist) write their comments. That's even when they are making a public response. Its already pre-written. They are trained professionally to respond to humors by the media in a professional mannor. Second, 95% of the entertains never finshed high school, college, and some barely made it out of junior high. That goes to show you that education this grants more opportunities not success. They are millions and they done even hold a Dipolma. Bill Gates have a high school dipolma and that is end of his education but he's the rich man in the world. Third, why should beyonce tell yall her business, we hate when people are in our business. Shit we be wanting to f*&k people up for just saying something small about us. So stop fronting. Fourth, Society have really have influence on young people today. No one have listened to the album but everyone hav their negative remarks about the album. The media that give the reviews on albums are old white people that barely know what music is. They gave Dangerously in Love a D-, but that went on to sell 11 million records world wide, they gave Destiny child's albums poor reviews, and they sold over 65 million records respectively. Come on people, she is a BLACK WOMEN doing something positive, she is not on drugs, she is not selling her body, she is not a theft, she is a business woman, entertainer, songtress, stylist, designer, actress, 9 grammy's and only at 24 years old. I think she have earned the right to change her style of singing for at least on album. Fifth, how she is not creative and her music now is nothing like whats out now, she dont have females degrading themselves show all type of skin, men holding a stack of money, or because people is not showing her skin like she used to. How many people can hold a video by themselves. Her video shows vision, maturity, and a gain of self respect. Sixth, how many people can top there first album especially if it was a success like Dangerously In Love was. Finally, i have heard the CD from front to back, Its the almost the same formula, its more of a happy CD, its cute, and three outstanding ballands on the album called, Irreplaceable, Resentiment, and Listen. Then you have Kitty Kat, Get me Bodied and its remix which is a totally cute remix to dance too with ur girls, then the hot track Upgrade with her and Hov, Freakmum Dress, Then you already know the Deja Vu and the most aggressive song out today Ring the ALarm. The album may not be Dangerously In Love, but shit it is far from Trash and it is worth the Listen,. Stop Being uneducated and become educated because just because people may give bad reviews and it may not be playing on the radio just goes to show you that the world is too immature to accept change. Plus to all that hated on Beyonce she still managed to have the #1 song on the Billboards Hip Hop/R&B charts.

First of all, I am supporting Beyonce. I happen to be a major fan of Beyonce. This is why I posted the last comment, asserting that such people should not judge an individual just simply by a song or an interview that they do because there are so many different dimensions to not only HER, but any individual. My concern is not with OTHER ethnicities murdering one another--my concern is with the BLACK RACE. I am well aware that violence is rampant in other communities; however, this is not a Chinese publication. This is a BLACK publication where fellow BLACK people were unfairly ridiculing a BLACK sister, much like you did with me.

YOU pity ME?! I absolutely laughed hysterically when I witnessed that absurdity. All I can is laugh because you are clueless! Also, what I am saying is not "propaganda" and I am here because I actually do like both VIBE and Beyonce. Don't tell me where to write or about what I should write. Your idle threats are menial. Personally, I believe that a vast majority of you on here need to GET A LIFE. It is obvious that many of you are embittered human beings who are so miserable within your own personal hells, also recognized as your life, that you feel the need to criticize, ridicule, and dictate what other people do with their lives.

Perhaps, if Black people were not so consumed with the trivial things such a "Beyonce swinging her hair around like a mad woman" or whether she is "holding it down with Jay-Z" when regarding her so-called "competition" with Rihana, then perhaps, Black people could get ahead as a people.

CLEARLY, we have MORE pressing matters to discuss. Like why doesn't the police give a damn to solve senseless crimes committed against Blacks when they are so willing to solve those when an individual of the ligther persuasion is involved? Why do OUR people continue to murder one another, rape another, have a lack of respect for one another? Why are more Black youths growing up in broken homes? Why is the unemployment rate at an all-time high for Blacks, and more importantly, why are Blacks the indiivduals ranked highest for unemployment? Why did the government have to let our people meet their fate in New Orleans, with bodies floating in the water--much like they had when those individuals missed the Arc in which Noah built. Why does society not give a damn about OUR people suffering from--dying from AIDS?

BLACK PEOLE WAKE UP.

Concern yourselves with the SIGNIFICANCE and not the IGNORACE. All of these things are just ways to divert our attention away from what really matters. You people correct your own lives; worry about your own relationships, insecurities, and indulgences. Honestly, a lot of you on here are disenfrancised and just plan FOOLS! I think that the greater issue here is Vibe.com's lack of journalistic integrity. As an aspiring young black journalist it disheartens me to see a black magazine indulging in sensationalism and raw tabloid fodder. I haven't visited Vibe.com much or read the magazine lately, but in the past the magazine had been an outlet where articulate, music savvy magazine journalists report on BLACK MUSIC, and not who's seeing who or dissed whom on a radio show. Its discouraging to see the website of a once reputable black publication reduced to a petty tabloid page to sell a few more ad spaces. What happened to the ideals of TRUTH and ACCURACY in reporting? Being a WATCHDOG for the black music industry?

I understand that "if it bleeds, it leads" and "sex sells". But you all have taken it too far. If this many celebrities have to check you on you work, then there is a problem. Stick to the facts and THE MUSIC. Forget all the other gossip bullshit and leave that to People.com and US magazine. Use those expensive journalism degrees you've got!

It's not like Cassie was personally writing the letter to VIBE. She was just posting another blog on her page to her fans. I'm not saying that Cassie's performances weren't bad, but it wasn't a personal letter to VIBE like you made it seem. She doesn't need any media training she needs performance and vocal training. Her media savvy is just fine. She's using her "regular girl" niche as far as she can carry it. It works for her because of her whole MySpace angle. As for Beyonce, you very well know she didn't write the letter she sent you. Plus, her letter answered none of what you mentioned. It's a generic note.

I have never been a die hard Beyonce' fan personally I think she is a little overrated however compared to the women/girls out now she is at the top of the game. It is clear that Beyonce' rushed this album I didn't like "Deja va" and "Ring The Alarm" I thought she could have did a way better job.As for her showing Cassie how to respond she didn't address any of the rumors so she really didn't show Cassie anything. I really didn't feel 'deja vu' but I love 'ring the alarm'. ladies we all know what it feels like to go through relationships but to have your business ALWAYS in public has to take a toll on you emotionally. If my man and I are going through something 9 out of 10 times only a handful of people know. Can you image if the whole world knew your business?!! As an artist I think B handled it the best way she knows how, HER WAY through HER MUSIC. It made me feel like she's human and has feelings like that rest of us. I just want to say for those hating on Beyonce that you need to get over it. She is a human being with feelings and a personal life just like everybody else and does not have to respond to a comment about her personal life if she doesn't want to. She dosen't want people all in her business just like we dont...well most of us. As far as the video, I thought it was pretty good because I got the concept of it, which some of you dont get, which is why you dont like it. But that comes with the territory of being an artist. Everyone isnt going to like what you do, but in the end it doesnt matter what everyone else thinks as long as the artist is happy and content about their work.

i like the Ring The Alarm song. the video is okay. Some of ya'll really think taking other peoples ideas are okay. If she was breaking out of the box so much then why is the video based on Basic Instinct, No Doubt's "Its my Life", and other stuff that already has been done. I am sorry fans, this chick is not as talented as she makes us believe. She really wants us to know that "Ring the Alarm" is her best video ever (she said it), she made her entire album in 2 weeks, and she didnt tell anyone at her label. First off, I love beyonce and I am a loyal fan. I do think think that this sophomore album will be nothing like the first only because on the first album she was more cautious and by that I mean she tried to stick to what she knew and what she was used to. Although, I don't think this album will do as well as the first one I will purchase it on Sept. 5. I love her two singles but I just think the videos weren't her best. But then again she is going in a different direction with her music which is what the videos depict. Its not the usual beyonce with background dancers singing melodies about how in love she is. She has grown up and has experienced a lot more adult issues which is what she is addressing. It's change my peoples, embrace it!!!

Beyonce is a talented girl, but has anyone REALLY listened to what she was saying in the song? It seems to me that she is only with Jay for the fame and the glamour. In the hook she is talking about how the "mystery" girl would get these expensive things that she is used to getting from him and how this "mystery" girl is gonna take everything that she got....is she serious? It sounds like B is afraid that she might not be the hottest chick in the game!!! lol!! Also....both new videos are bad! In the first one she looks like she is in the movie Coming to America and the second one is just dumb!!!

Can we have some torn pics of the offender, a lamp smashing against the wall...damn, even show a car w/ "DOG" carved into the hood??? No, I'm not advocating those displays of anger w/ a cheating man, but they're more common. B just looks like she's throwing a high-volume, glamourous temper tantrum....and a materialistic one at that. The song is hot and diferent for her, but the video treatment doesn't do it justice. Still got love for B, but the "Alarm" deserved better.

It's not like Cassie was personally writing the letter to VIBE. She was just posting another blog on her page to her fans. I'm not saying that Cassie's performances weren't bad, but it wasn't a personal letter to VIBE like you made it seem. She doesn't need any media training she needs performance and vocal training. Her media savvy is just fine. She's using her "regular girl" niche as far as she can carry it. It works for her because of her whole MySpace angle. As for Beyonce, you very well know she didn't write the letter she sent you. Plus, her letter answered none of what you mentioned. It's a generic note.

Well, it is not her best work, but I believe she will still be success. I would hate to think that she would put out an album just to compete with Letoya ( I dont believe that for a second ) Maybe she is trying to mix it up and lost her way in the process, I'm sure there will be some good songs and videos to accompany them.
