Hush, Hush, Pass: It's Game Time, Beanie Siegel No Longer Def, Strange Fruit Project Talks, Simmons Family Loss
There's a lot of news coming out of the world of hip-hop lately:
The Game's new CD Doctor's Advocate doesn't drop until November but he is already promoting it like crazy. The West coast M.C. is in Washington, DC tonight for a private listening party. Let's hope that he doesn't run into his nemesis Ras Kass who will be performing in DC on Thursday. If so, prepare for more beef videos on YouTube.
Beanie Siegel is parting ways with Def Jam. His last project for the legendary label will be a mixtape. In addition, he is also saying buh-bye to Roc-A-Fella Records.
The Strange Fruit Project recently spoke to HoneySoul.com about their third CD, The Healing. Unlike other Texas M.C.'s, this soulful hip hop trio are more about conscious lyrics than grills and bling.
In very tragic news, our condolences go out to Reverend Run and his wife Justine Simmons whose baby was born with severe birth defects and died shortly thereafter. VC was hoping that the MTV curse wouldn't catch up our favorite reality show family, but sadly it has.

I am truly sad to hear Justine and Rev Run lost their baby. Whats most sad, as if losing any child isnt sad enough, is that she was hoping for a girl and had one. It truly is very sad. My prayers goes out to them and their children. God will bless them again b/c all things happen as he sees fit.
