This story comes straight (pun!) from a friend of VC who Cheri tried picking up at two music industry events. A call to Cherri's camp confirmed that the singer goes to gay clubs and lives the lifestyle pretty openly.
This is still rumor, but it's pretty much a known secret to those in the biz.
So, if you see Cheri Dennis at a party, and you're packing a pesky Y chromosome, don't even bother approaching the lady. She may not swing that way.
