Hush, Hush, Pass: Snoop Dogg's Latest Hustle, Brian McKnight Wants to Bring Real R&B Back
It’s no secret that Snoop Dogg is a fan of the sticky icky. Now the Long Beach, Calif., emcee has created Blunt Wraps, a line of flavored cigars, in order to capitalize on his favorite pastime. The cigars were handed out as favors during the release party for Snoop Dogg’s new CD, The Blue Carpet Treatment, which hits the streets on Tuesday. Let’s just hope that Snoop doesn’t take these to the airport for his next trip.
One of the most consistent artists in the R&B game is Brian McKnight. The singer/songwriter/instrumentalist is ready to drop his tenth album, appropriately titled 10, on December 5. The CD finds him on a new label, but Brian hasn’t strayed from what has made him a star. He recently chatted with HoneySoul about his latest project, his career, and what’s down the road for him. The lead single, “Used to Be My Girl,” is available on iTunes and fans can holla at the singer on his MySpace page.
