Hush, Hush, Pass: Chris Rock Divorce Drama, New Badu to Debut on MySpace?, Star Jones Temping
Pookie Chris Rock is joining the ranks of celebrities caught up in a messy split. Rock recently filed for divorce from his wife of 10 years Malaak Compton-Rock and now word on the street is that Malaak wants his head on a platter and his money in her pocketbook. Apparently Malaak has evidence of her husband's infidelity and will be going after his riches in the divorce proceedings. Note to Chris: It's cheaper to keep her.
Erykah Badu has some new material on the way, and she may debut it on her MySpace page. Ms. Badu sent out a bulletin this morning telling her fans that if they bless her page with 100,000 comments in the next 24 hours that she'll bless them with a new track. Since that time she has posted a blog extending her deadline to February. Excuse VC while we go leave a comment.
Just in time for Christmas, Star Jones has finally gotten a job. The former morning show mouthpiece will be temping next week at the Michael Eric Dyson Show while Mr. Dyson is away. Star will make her radio debut as a nationally syndicated radio talk show host for a three-day stint starting on December 18th. Good for Star; now she can afford some new Payless pumps for Al.
