Maxwell Single To Debut on Valentine's Day Eve

VC first reported back in September that Maxwell's new CD was going to drop on February 13, 2007, which would be today. However, due to unforseen circumstances (record company politricks, perhaps?) the release date got pushed back yet again. Black Summer's Night does not have a release date locked down yet, but it is expected to hit the streets some time this year.
Fans hungry for new Maxwell need not despair, however. Although the new CD won't drop today, apparently the new single will. "Fistfull of Tears" is scheduled to debut today, Valentine's Day Eve, according to Maxwell's MySpace page. If this new track is anything like Maxwell's past loverman songs, then we expect a spike in births on or around November 13th.
UPDATE: Once again Maxwell fans were hoodwinked and bamboozled. February 13th came and went with no new single posted on his MySpace page, but there was a recorded message from the one-named wonder explaining the delay and apologizing to those of us eagerly awaiting some of his sexual healing.
