Foxy Brown Down And Out In Jail

Foxy Brown doesn't sound like she is holding up well in the slammer at all. The Rikers Island inmate is reportedly breaking down behind bars. Inga's former inmates have been spilling the tea about the rapper's time in jail and what they've seen.

Foxy has allegedly been spending her days alone in her cell, "flipping through the Bible, and guzzling orange soda," which is so healthy for her unborn baby, you know. Although she is separated from gen pop, Ms. Marchand has been friendly to her fellow inmates when they pass by her cell while she's heating up her ramen noodles on a hot plate.

The worst news of all, though, is that Foxy's weave is on its last legs. An inmate was quoted as saying, "Her hair looks like whoever did it ran. That's how much the weave is coming apart." And this differs from how her weave normally looks, in what way? Just curious.

I have much respect for Foxy Brown and I am a fan. I feel sorry for her. It seems she is trying to keep up with Lil Kim to add credence to her street "value". You don't need to go to jail or have a criminal record for people to respect and look up to you. If you have a problem with your temper, you should seek help from anger management. As a star in the public eye, you need to maintain a certain image. People are always looking to judge you for this or that. Let's not give the world the opportunity to look at you in that light. God Bless and good luck Foxy!

Hey Foxy,

I love your no non-sense attitude. However life doesn't always turn out how we expect. Keep your head up. Despite what people may say you're human too. For all those out there loving her fall, beware yours might be harder!!!

This article is a joke. Who cares about her weave or what her daily eating habits are? She is going through a very hard time consistently and I really hope she finally does better after this. I agree that she is a target and I think that she needs to be left alone. I believe that we need to uplift or people and not kick them while they are down. My prayers go out to her and her unborn child.

Dear Foxy,
the odds are already against you, you are of African decent and you are a woman, not because you are an Artist, you will always be a target. Just look at the negative association with RAP music, and constantly you character is in question. You are not the only one who have broken the law. Others such as Paris Hilton, Britanny Spears, Nicole Riche, Lindsay Lohan, have all walked away free of charge. Oh! I am sorry, those of European decent does no wrong. My dear, take this time to gather your thoughts and how to express yourself about the forces that be, I don't believe you are this bad person that the Hollywood Media would have us believe. It is normal for anyone to react when provoked, the fact that you have to serve time is very questionable. But we are strong people and like they say, "when life gives you lemon, make lemonade" Take from this humility and write positive and inspirational lyrics, and live up to the expectation of a Queen, after all you came from royalty. Read Psalm 23, you will get through this. All the best

Save Reggae Now!
Aug 25th, 2007, 2:12pm Quote
You may try to stop it,
But you can’t contain it,
It’s
It’s Reggae, let it play
Let it play.
Love is what defines
It, it’s Reggae!
M-hall.

The Silence of Reggae!

Reggae is under attack! What will be done? A particular group of activist of a sexual preference is on a mission to malign and obliterate Reggae music. They have succeeded in the past by censoring prominent Artist such as; Shabba -Ranks, Beenie-Man and Buju- Bonton and nearly destroyed their reputation, by branding them as homophobic and ones who hate.
When the Artist is silenced, what voice will the people of Jamaica have?
Reggae Artist is traditionally known to sing about the un-represented, those that are suffering. They are the voice of an oppressed nation, in Jamaica and around the world.
Since it’s inception in the early 1960’s, the world has experience it’s sensation through musical genius of the late Sir Coxsone Dodd of Studio One, Lee Scratch Perry- who produced phenomenal Artist. The world was first introduced to Reggae by Artist such as; The Skallities , Toots and the Matals, Bob Marley and other amazing artist that followed such as; Steel Pulse, Burning Spear, Black Diamond only to name a fewq of the pioneers. Reggae is still far from being accepted, primarily because of the negative publicity.
You may have never even heard the positive impact some of it’s artist have had in the world . In resent times, Bob Marley was awared albumn of the century for his. ”At the end of the millennium, Time magazine voted reggae pioneer Bob Marley's "Exodus" (1977) the most important album of the 20th century”
A slew of Artist went on to enjoy the same success, Damian Marley, Shaggy, Sean Paul, Beenie-man and Lady Saw became Grammy winiing Artist. In Hip Hop and other Musci genres, Artist such as Beyonce, No Doubt who simultaneiolsy coolooboirated with Reagga Artist such as; Lady Saw, Bounty Killer and Sean Paul went on to win the grammy.
There are commercials that mentions Jamica or make reference to Reggae by main stream companies, but Regage is still far from being respected.

Today, when you listen to artist like Cham, who is sings, “this is my story”, he tells the plight of youths in present day Jamaica. Ghetto Story- the title of the song, is a testimony of everyday life for many youths.
Listen to the words from the songs will have a better understanding why a Reggae Artist is vital. They advocate for the rights of the people. They are modern day civil rights leaders. Their music tells a story. It is the reality of many youths in ghettos around the world.
Reggae music is a genre of Music that is over looked in the some foreign countries. It is not respected for the movement it is. If one doesn’t understand what Reggae is all about, they are quick to judge. Here we have Gay Activist trying to educate the world about Music, they themselves don’t understand.
In 2006, unfortunately Reggae music is not getting positive press. We still have not make the message of Reggae clear. This is a call for the preservation and acceptance of Reggae music.
It's Reggae. Like Bob Morley says; "Teach the people with Music". Respect is due every time to the Marley family and to all the pioneers such as; Alton Ellis, Burning Spear, Peter Tosh, Freddy Macgregor, Berres Hammond, Morgan Heritage, Burning Spear, Luciano and Capleton, among many others who still keep the flame burning.
Beenieman, Shaggy, Sean Paul and Elephant man. I respect your accomplishments, but it's time to get back to basics. Sham; definitely love your song "Ghetto story."
This is my story, in the summer of...this was the land I left off to do, never know what awaited me ahead, and I decided to follow my dream wherever it led.
As a concerned Reggae lover, I would like to form a coalition to help people better understand Reggae. If you are interested in this cause please write to me at;lonie22@hotmail.com
