Angie Stone Breaks It Down About J Records And D'Angelo

Angie Stone is currently gearing up for the October 16th release of her new CD The Art of Love and War, led by the smoking single "Baby." This disc will mark her debut on the legendary label Stax Records, and Ms. Stone is more than ready for the new beginning.

She recently landed in the Washington, D.C. area for a listening party at a suburban Maryland art gallery; take it from VC that the new CD is full of grown and sexy music. In addition to debuting her new tunes for her fans, Angie let it be known that she left J Records because she wasn't a priority (cross reference Alicia Keys) and she made it crystal clear that she is tired of D'Angelo questions.
