Rakim's Son Beats Seizures Through Natural Healing - Video
Tags: Rakim
This is the most sincere and awkward promo we've ever seen a rapper do for any product.
Here's Rakim, one of the GOAT's of hip hop, speaking on a self-healing program that cured his son of seizures. OK, that's cool.
But what's up with Beth John, the doctor at the beginning, calling him "Rakeem"? C'mon, lady - respect the god!
Appearing Live at Howard's Homecoming...DJ Drauma?
VC couldn't help but chuckle when we came across this flyer for a party Thursday night for Howard University's Homecoming going on this week in Washington, DC. Notice anything strange about the name of the popular DJ and his well-known mixtape series?

All we can say is that spellcheck is your friend, party promoters.
Get Laughs or Die Trying : White Boyz In The Hood
This stand-up comedy show premieres on Thursday October 5th on Showtime at 11PM ET/PT.
MC Trebek In The Hizzouse!
Jeopardy host Alex Trebek needs to not quit his day job.
We don't know what to be more mad at--Trebek's wack delivery of these rap lyrics or the fact that none of these clowns answered "LL Cool J" for the "Mama Said Knock You Out" clue?
Chicken Noodle Scoop
The mastermind (sarcasm) behind the "Chicken Noodle Soup" dropped an album earlier this week. DJ Webstar, who along with "rapper" Young B are the ones responsible for the song and summer dance craze that swept YouTube, is riding his popularity right to the record store with the release of Webstar Presents: Caught in the Web.
The CD features artists under the 19-year-old DJ's chicken wing. Sadly (more sarcasm) the CD does not include the "Chicken Noodle Soup" remix featuring Trina. Maybe that's because the remix sucks? Just a thought.
It's Cocaine In A Can, Baby!
Here's another product that leads us to scratch our heads: Cocaine Energy Drink.
What's next? Crack cookies?
Despite the controversial name, the red-colored energy drink does not contain any actual cocaine according to the creators. However, it does have 280 milligrams of caffeine mixed into the vitamin and mineral cocktail. The drink boasts that it is "350 percent stronger than Red Bull."
The website features a list of adult beverages to make with the energy drink and a link to "dealers"--places where you can find Cocaine. And wouldn't you know it, the drink even has a page on MySpace.
Controversy aside, this sounds like something that Dave Chappelle's Tyrone Biggums would love:
