Superhead To Rap On Eddie Murphy's Mic, Sells Used Clothes

After putting her mouth to work on various actors and rappers, now Karrine "Superhead" Steffans plans to put her mouth to work by rapping. Yes, you read that right, Superhead will be bringing her "talents" to wax and whoring herself out on CD. And word is that she is even signed to Eddie Murphy's new record label, Murphy Entertainment.

Now VC has heard Steffans freestyle on a mixtape before, and frankly she needs to put the mic down and back away from it slowly before anyone else's ears get hurt by listening to her. And we don't know what Eddie Murphy is thinking. Sex sells and all, but this is downright ridiculous. Did his new ~~boss~~ boo, Tracey Edmonds, approve this?

In other skanky news, Superhead is selling some of her old garments ~~for birth control money~~. Who wouldn't want to own one of her used dresses that was probably hiked up in the back of a limo or crumpled up on some hotel suite's floor?

Gabrielle Union Flops At Box Office In One Movie, Goes Direct-To-DVD In Another

Gabrielle Union has been steady bumping her gums speaking out against black gossip blogs lately, but perhaps her time would have been better spent auditioning for better roles. Her new feature film, A Perfect Holiday, tanked at the box office bringing in a paltry $3 million and ranking sixth in the weekend tally. Going up against the Will Smith juggernaut of I Am Legend didn't help matters any, but neither did a tired script and weak acting.

We're sure that this movie will wind up on DVD sooner than later, where it will join another Gabby flick, The Box. This new direct-to-DVD movie is a cop/murder drama, and it hits the streets on January 8th. After watching the trailer it doesn't exactly strike us as a classic piece of cinema, but it may be worthy of a ~~bootleg~~ Blockbuster night.

Saleisha Walks Her Way To 'America's Next Top Model'

Cycle 9 of America's Next Top Model ended Wednesday night with Saleisha Stowers coming out as the champion. Saleisha beat the brakes off of ~~Barbie~~ Chantal to take home the tiara in a rather so-so season of Tyra Banks' beauty comp.

Despite being forced to wear a Velma wig from the House of Scooby Doo collection, Saleisha's boss walk, cutesy looks and positive attitude sealed the deal for her. Or maybe it was the fact that she's been associated with Tyra numerous times before, having modeled on her daytime chat-fest and being a catwalker on a previous ANTM cycle? Unfair advantage or not, Saleisha ethered the competition--even weekly fan favorite, Heather.

Now she can look forward to being cast as "the girl" in music videos or direct-to-DVD movies, random red carpet photo ops and maybe even a layout in King and/or Smooth. Ah, welcome to the hood life.

Keyshia Cole Cuts Up At Concert

Just when you think that Keyshia Cole is basking in her success and behaving herself, she turns around and acts a fool. Rumor has it that last night at the kickoff concert for R. Kelly's Double Up tour in Columbus, GA that she acted like a diva when she learned that she wouldn't be going on stage right before R. Kelly. That coveted spot belonged to Ne-Yo, but Keyshia wasn't trying to hear all that since she's the bigger star. O RLY, Keyshia? A bigger star than Ne-Yo? Survey says, NO! Sounds to VC like someone is feeling themselves a little too much these days. In addition to refusing to perform after J. Holiday and before Ne-Yo, Keyshia complained about her dressing room being too small. The dressing room situation couldn't be fixed but Ne-Yo gave up his spot in the lineup to Ms. Cole.

Chris Brown Sings About This Christmas

November is turning out into quite a month for Chris Brown. His sophomore CD, Exclusive, dropped last week and his new movie, This Christmas, will hit theaters next week. And speaking of This Christmas, Chris sings the title track to the flick and a video is now out for the classic tune. He doesn't exactly do Donny Hathaway justice but the video itself is worth a watch to see Chris jacking Michael Jackson's moves and granting Christmas wishes by just walking by.

Jamie Foxx To Turn Dudes From G's To Gents

Jamie Foxx is getting ready to step into the world of reality TV. The Oscar-winning actor has signed a deal with MTV to produce a reality series for the former all-music channel. From G's To Gents will be a makeover series where men transform into gentlemen and compete against each other in the process. Allrighty then. There's no word on if Foxx will be in the series itself, but this sounds like VH1's Charm School meets Cinderfella. Or, in other words, a hot mess waiting to happen. So Jamie has gone from winning an Oscar to this? Wow. We don't know whether to laugh or cry.

Alicia Keys And Common Get Dramatic In New Video

Alicia Keys' new CD, As I Am, officially hit the streets yesterday and a new video hit the net at the same time. The clip for her second single, "Like You'll Never See Me Again," features Common and brings the drama. We don't know about anybody else, but VC felt like it was watching an episode of ER without the tired plot lines and annoying characters while viewing this video. She crammed more drama into four minutes than most television shows do in one hour. But aside from all that, what's up with Common and Alicia putting in work in each other's music videos lately? Ms. Keys was last seen as Common's love interest in his clip for "I Want You" and now he's retuning the favor here. Did Common's rumored real-life boo, Kerry Washington, approve this?

Dr. Donda West Death Shrouded In Controversy

VC wants to first express our deepest condolences to Kanye West and his entire family in the death of his mother, Dr. Donda West. Over the weekend, VIBE.com reported that Dr. West passed in Los Angeles on Saturday and now disturbing details about her death have surfaced. Dr. West had undergone a cosmetic surgery procedure last Friday under the knife of Dr. Jan Adams, a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon who is a fixture on the Discovery Health Channel. Apparently the tummy tuck and breast reduction procedure took twice as long as normal, and Dr. West was discharged to recover at her home where she later died. Word is that Dr. West was advised against the surgery by another plastic surgeon until she received medical clearance, but Dr. Adams went ahead with the ill-advised procedures. Now TMZ.com is having a field day putting Dr. Adams' shady business on Front Street. Come to find out that he's been arrested numerous times for DUI, has been sued multiple times for malpractice, and was on the verge of losing his medical license. Juanita Jordan Gets Massive Divorce Settlement

Earlier in the year it was reported that Michael Jordan and Juanita Jordan had divorced on the down low and there was a lot of speculation about how much the divorce settlement would be. Well, that speculation has officially ended with word that Juanita has bagged $168 million from Air Jordan. Yes, kids, this would make this the largest divorce settlement in the history of divorces. Juanita will not only have enough money to last her a few lifetimes, but she will also get to keep the seven-acre estate in Chicago and retain custody of their three children in the settlement. But don't cry for Michael Jordan; dude is far from broke. However, we do suppose that this little divorce settlement does cut into his skank budget. Pity.

Jay-Z took his freshly unretired behind onto the late night chat fest to holla at Dave and gab about his new CD, American Gangster, in stores tomorrow and available somewhere on the internet right now. 'American Gangster' Kicks 'Bee' Booty At Box Office

Congratulations are definitely in effect for Denzel Washington et al for snatching the box office crown this past weekend with American Gangster. The film opened in that number one spot with $46.3 mil and beat the buzz out of Bee Movie, which came in a close second. However, despite topping the charts, folks are wondering just how much more American Gangster would've made if those pristine bootlegs hadn't been floating around at beauty shops and street corners across the country. There's no doubt that the DVD moved some serious units on the block but unfortunately there's no tracking system for bootlegs to know just how big a chunk these illegal copies took out of the movie's box office take. It will also be interesting to see how American Gangster does on the Billboard charts next week. No, not the soundtrack but Jay-Z's CD that drops tomorrow, which has also fallen victim to more leaks than a broken faucet.

Bobby Brown Calls Karrine Steffans Out

Yesterday the illustrious King of R&B, Bobby Brown, called into the Ryan Cameron Show in ATL and during the radio interview he had some choice words for former fling Karrine "Superhead" Steffans. Bobbay was quoted as saying: "She is a sick, sick, sick, sick person. She needs help. She really needs help. Somebody needs to... clean her clock out." Wow. Those are some strong words about the pot coming from the kettle.

Jennifer Lopez Suffering From Poor Sales And Direct-To-DVD Curse

¡Ay Dios mio! What is this that we hear about Jennifer Lopez in danger of losing her record deal and her next movie going direct to DVD? Word on the internet streets is that Jenny from the block may be pounding the pavement soon and looking for a new deal. Apparently Epic and parent company Sony are on the verge of kicking her to the curb for poor record sales. On top of not bringing revenue in, J.Lo is costing the label tons of money to maintain with all of her diva debt for hair, makeup, wardrobe and prenatal care. And if that music news wasn't bad enough, Lopez isn't fairing too well on the movie tip either. According to sources, her next movie, Bordertown, may get a one-way ticket straight-to-DVD. Although the flick stars Martin Sheen and Antonio "Puss In Boots" Banderas, even their star power can't save this clunker. Poor Jenny. Maybe she'll take some time off to retool her career when she's on maternity leave.

The custom bags start at $50 and go up to $175. These bags look like the perfect Christmas gifts for the soccer moms in your life. We can't knock Chilli's hustle, but we just want to know what's up with that album on Akon's Konvict label that she's supposed to be dropping.
